ACCOUNTS ASSISTANT – REINSURANCE & CLAIMS

Responsibilities: 

.

Assist Superior in various reinsurance accounting functions, main responsibilities includes:

  • prepare monthly aging receivable reports
  • reconciliation of premium and claims statement of accounts
  • passing journal entries and issuing of payment vouchers.
  • processing of claims debit/credits notes, and various technical statement of accounts for submissions
  • correspondence/liaise with Reinsurers for any outstanding due
  • other ad-hoc tasks as & when required

 

Requirements:

  • Possess at least a LCCI/Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Accounting or equivalent
  • Preferably with relevant work experience
  • Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Words
