P&O Capital Sdn Bhd was incorporated in 1984 as Dynamic Credits Sdn Bhd. The change in name is to reflect the joint venture entered into in March 1997 between Pacific & Orient Berhad and Laras Unggul Sdn Bhd, a member of the Libra Capital Group of Companies. P & O Capital is a moneylender licenced under the Moneylenders Act, 1951. It has also been granted exemption under the Moneylenders Act to provide three additional types of financing services; Credit Leasing, Share Financing and Factoring.
P&O Capital Sdn Bhd is a provider of venture capital and mezzanine financing. This operation benefits Malaysian business, particularly medium-sized enterprises, as thorough as P&O Capital provides funding as well as marketing and management experience.
